FSRA July Meeting

FSRA’s meeting in July would normally take place on 12 July. Coincidentally this is the date that the Canadian Rodder “Points West” tour will be attending at the Rod Shop in Calgary.

To aid in the celebration of the tour FSRA is cancelling this meeting and recommending members attend at the Rod Shop to support Canadian Rodder and the Points West Tour participants.

The Rod Shop is located at #6 2421 Center Ave NW in Calgary.

Monday May 10th 2010 FSRA Meeting

Date:          May 10
Location:    Legion on Edmonton Trail and 38 Ave.
Time:         7: PM
We have a couple of decisions to discuss:
  1. Rent has been increased at the Legion from $35 to $75 per month. We need to talk about the possibility of relocating our monthly meetings to another venue. This will be done by a vote of the membership.
  2. Fall Wind Up Party. Dates available at this time are Oct 23 or Oct 30.
Oct 30 is Halloween Night, could be fun!
Also, bring out your rod, after the meeting we will venture to Peters for ice cream, or if the present weathers continues we’ll head for the “Old” North Hill Dinner for pie and coffee.

Monday March 8th 2010 FSRA Meeting

FSRA is meeting on Monday, March 8th. The meeting will be, as usual, at the Chapelhow Legion (Edmonton Trail and 38th Avenue N.E) at 7 p.m. Ron Moore will be our guest speaker and he will tell us about his new oil product for collector cars. Hope to see you all there.

Monday February 8th 2010 FSRA Meeting

This coming Monday, February 8th is our next Foothills club meeting.  As usual, it is at 7:00 p.m. at our regular location,

Monday is our last meeting before the World of Wheels on February 19, 20 & 21.

Trevor is presently driving home a new acquisition from Arizona so asked me to send out this important meeting reminder.

  • Please volunteer for a few shifts at the car show and help our club support the Agape Hospice.
  • There are still a number of volunteer assignments needing to be filled, particularly on Sunday.
  • Please, call Janet Savage at (403) 246-0913 to sign up, or do so at our meeting on Monday evening.

FSRA’s new 2010 shirts are hot off the press, in time for us to show them off at the World of Wheels.

  • Please come prepared to purchase yours to take home from the upcoming meeting on Monday.
  • See Leo or Berny Hartfelder.  Prices are the same as last year’s:

For Small thru XL sizes

  • short-sleeved T’s are $20
  • long-sleeved T’s are $25
  • sweat-shirts are $30

(Note: 2XL sizes are an extra $5.)
Members pre-ordered 100 shirts at our last meeting, plus a limited number of extras will also be available.
